My name is Nick Paul and I'm from Alamogordo, New Mexico. I've been part of the Storage Rebellion since 2019. Prior to joining the Storage Rebellion I was focused on single family flips and real estate brokerage. Running a flipping business was time intensive and nothing more than a glorified job. Terry Royce

My name is Terry Royce, and my wife, Kristin, and I live in Maryland with our three, amazing daughters. We've been a part of the Storage Rebellion since November 2019. Back then, I was co-owner of a 7-figure, local real estate team that completed over 100 transactions per year. My wife and I planned to slowly acquire storage facilities to replace our income before pivoting to self storage full time. Cue COVID. The slowdown in our housing business gave us the clarity to realize our kids (then 6 and 4) weren't going to be little forever and that we were over the grind and feeding the "machine". So, in April 2020, we decided to sell our entire single family rental portfolio and wholesaling business to our partner and go full bore into self storage. While the decision was daunting at the time, we've never looked back. We acquired our first facility in April 2020 and have since purchased 5 more, totaling about 100,000 square feet and growing. We owe a huge debt to the coaching, networking, and relationships we've cultivated since joining The Storage Rebellion. While storage is a highly competitive field, the people in the group genuinely want you to succeed and celebrate your achievements with you, as well as commiserate with some of the challenges . I've been in the Storage Rebellion since before it was officially named. (Storage Rebel #1 :) At that time I was working as an auto technician and specialized in transmission repair at a Chevy dealership. I worked 7-4 M-F, some Saturdays and spent 2+ hours commuting back and forth each day. I was looking for a business that would allow me to replace and increase my income while also allowing me to live anywhere I wanted. Fast forward, I joined the Rebellion and I purchased 3 storage facilities and clocked in at my job one last time on 9/11/2020. Hey this is Ian Horowitz from Equity Warehouse. I have been a part of the Storage Rebellion since its inception. When I joined our company had been operating a large Single-Family Portfolio and was looking for a better way to invest in real estate at scale. I was skeptical about joining.
